The results of the analyses carried out in our internal laboratory are often available on the same day, sometimes in less than an hour for emergencies. For tests sent to an external laboratory, the delay is usually 12 to 48 hours, but may be longer for very specific tests (a few days). We will keep you informed as soon as reception.

We make every effort to ensure that the blood samples (blood, puncture...) are the least stressful and as fast as possible. Most animals tolerate these actions very well. A slight discomfort may be felt, comparable to a blood test in humans, but it is of very short duration.

Our procedures meet the highest quality and safety standards, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of each result.

Sampling usually takes place at the level of a vein (often the jugular or a vein of the leg). The area is previously disinfected and sometimes mowed if necessary. Restraint is adapted to minimize stress. The whole process lasts only a few minutes and is well tolerated by the majority of animals. If necessary, for example if your animal is too afraid to take blood, we will propose a sedation of a few minutes.
